Welcome to our website!!  Here you will get to see a glimpse of what we are all about here at Floyd Woods Farm.  Our small farm is tucked away in the backwoods of Lempster, New Hampshire. 

     For two years now, we have tried to come up with a fitting name for our farm.  One day it clicked when discussing our favorite memories from a farm in Virginia that Ben's grandparents grew up on.  The farm was very peaceful and inviting, quiet and simple.  That farm was located in Floyd.   We are aiming to recreate that farm in a different place and a bit of a different way.

     If you come for a visit, you will always notice that our herd of horses and ponies consists of many grays.  I have always been especially fond of the gray horse.   Well, after we came up with our name of "Floyd Woods", we looked up the meaning of "Floyd"...what do you know, it means "gray-haired". 

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

      Here at Floyd Woods, we are aiming to create a very welcoming horse farm where we take in most breeds for training and accept students of all ages and levels.  We focus mainly on hunter/jumper training, but will start and/or polish up your horse from most disciplines. 

      Though we do spend much of our time competing at horse shows, it is not our only focus.  Lempster is blessed with some of the best trails and quiet dirt roads for hacking.  We feel it is extremely important, for both the horse and the rider, to step out of the ring, loosen up their reins, and explore the beautiful woods that God has given us to enjoy.
